Get strung out with Fat Mike!

Hey good musicians,

I’m just finishing an album with my partner BAZ, called Fat Mike gets Strung Out. It’s all string quartets and quintets. Now, I’m looking for the right musicians to play all the songs at my house and make a live album out of it. And I also just want to see a bunch of cool videos of string players trying to play this song. Concerto at Fatty’s is the working title.

So, if you wanna be part of it and be in the first couple videos, get some friends together and play this song “Total Bummer”.  Download the sheet music below, then make a video of you performing the song and upload it here.   There is a button for that…. Post it on your social media and tag @fatmikedude too.  Let everyone see what you’ve done.

In a few weeks, I’ll be releasing another song to see who can pull that off. If I get a bunch of really good quartets, I might just have a few of you out to play the live album. I’ll bring these quartets from anywhere in the world to my backyard to perform, and put you up for a day or two.  There… now you have motivation to do it. That actually sounds like a good idea.
